Good afternoon

All customers in Thanet are continuing to receive water without interruptions. Our sites are running and this is helping to fill up our water network.

The immediate water supply risk has reduced, however we still have precautionary measures in place as part of our emergency response.

We have more than 20 tankers injecting water into key locations across our network.

Bottled water deliveries are also ongoing for those on our Priority Services Register (PSR). Precautionary deliveries started on Sunday and will continue into Wednesday afternoon.

Customers who need support can sign up to our priority register via our website or by calling 0330 303 0368.

Bottled Water Stations

With all customers in supply, our two bottled water stations are quiet, and we will be closing them down at 6pm today (Tuesday 26 May).

However, as a precaution, our equipment at the bottled water stations will remain in place. This will ensure they can be reopened by staff at short notice if needed, while we recover from this period of high demand.

If customers would like to collect bottled water before 6pm, the stations are located at:

  • Tesco Superstore, Manston Road, Ramsgate, CT12 6NT
  • Manston Airfield, Manston Road, CT12 5BL

Please use water wisely

While the hot continues today, the demand for water is very high. Small changes can have a big impact, and we’re asking customers to use water wisely. This really does help with our recovery, as we increase reservoir levels. Water-saving tips are on our website and your support in sharing this messaging is appreciated.

If you have any questions, please do contact me.

Kind regards.
