Kent County Council - Temporary Road Closure - B2050 Manston Road & Manston Court Road, Manston - 13th August 2025 (Thanet District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Kent County Council, it will be necessary to close part of B2050 Manston Road & Manston Court Road, Manston, from 13th August 2025 with estimated completion by 15th August 2025.

B2050 Manston Road will be closed between the junctions of Manston Court Road and Preston Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2050 Manston Road East, B2190 Spitfire Way, B2190 Un-named Road from Minster Road to Columbus Avenue, B2190 Minster Road, A299 Mount Pleasant, A299 Hengist Way, A299 Sevenscore Roundabout, A299 Hengist Way, A256 Canterbury Road West, A256 Haine Road, B2050 Manston Road and vice versa.

Manston Court Road will be closed at the junction of B2050 Manston Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Manston Court Road, Preston Road, B2050 Manston Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while allowing highway improvement works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
