Thank you to everyone who came along and helped Councillor Stuart McRae and his small team with the Mothers' Day Manston Village Litter-Pick. Your time and effort made a real difference to helping keep the village clean, welcoming and well cared for.

Those who took part included:

  • Cllr McRae
  • Cllr Elliott
  • Clerk & RFO Elizabeth Carr
  • TDC Cllr Abi Smith
  • Residents - Ray Edwards & Elizabeth (sorry we didn't get your surname!)

We're grateful for every volunteer who gave up part of their weekend to support the community. It's always encouraging to see residents and Councillors working side-by-side!

Thank you for helping keep Manston looking its best...

The photo shows Cllr McRae with some of his team during the day.

If you would like to help with future Litter-Picks please email Cllr McRae: [email protected]

Reminder: you should not dump rubbish around bins - that is considered fly-tipping and is illegal. Only correctly marked bags, obtained from Thanet District Council, are suitable. Take your litter home and place it in your own refuse bin for collection.
