Manston Park Barrier & CCTV Update

Following the Full Council Meeting on Monday 8 June, the Council has agreed to accept the insurance settlement for the damaged barrier at Manston Park.

Councillors also approved the installation of CCTV in the car park area to help deter future damage and improve security. Quotes for the CCTV system are currently being obtained.

To make sure the repaired barrier is properly protected, the CCTV installation will take place before the barrier repair. Final quotations will be considered at the July Council meeting.

Thank you to everyone for your patience while we work through the proper process. We’ll share further updates as soon as installation and repair dates are confirmed.
