Due to works planned to be undertaken by Openreach, it will be necessary to close part of Preston Road & Manston Court Road, Ramsgate, in 2 phases as detailed below:

Phase 1 - Preston Road will be closed from 13th October 2025, with estimated completion by 17th October 2025.

The road will be closed from outside the substation to the junction of Manston Court Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Manston Court Road, B2050 Manston Road, Preston Road and vice versa.

Phase 2 - Manston Court Road will be closed from 20th October 2025, with estimated completion by 24th October 2025.

The road will be closed from the junction of Preston Road to opposite Fleet Court Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Manston Court Road, B2050 Manston Road, A256 Haine Road, A256 New Haine Road, A256 Haine Road, Star Lane Link, Star Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while allowing fibre works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Openreach.
