Dear Kent Residents

You can find a copy of the Newsletter IN FULL here.

A new twist on Courier/Police Impersonation Fraud has been reported — and it’s shocking.

Although this method hasn’t been seen in Kent, it’s important to stay alert to emerging scams.

A victim was called by someone pretending to be a police officer and told to withdraw £16,000. Later that day, the scammer arrived at the victim’s home and snatched the cash from their hands on the doorstep.

❌ The police will NEVER ask you for financial details on the phone or request to collect your card or cash or gold as part of an investigation.

If this scam happens to you:
☎️ contact your bank immediately, which you can do by calling 159 and
🚨 Report it to Kent Police.

For scam alerts as they are issued please add us on Instagram or Facebook.

Thank you.
