Please find HERE our new guides from Kent County Council’s Kent’s Plan Bee, intended to help the community identify, appreciate and take actions to help Kent’s pollinating insects.

The Community Pollinator Toolkit is primarily aimed at those groups, such as yourselves, community gardens and ‘Friends’ groups, who may be managing small areas of land and wish to enhance them in some way for pollinators and other wildlife. Inside are a wide variety of suggested actions together with links to more detailed information and organisations who can help in various ways.

Pollinators of Kent is an introductory guide to those insects that pollinate our crops, ornamental plants and wildflowers and is intended to both compliment the Toolkit and act as a general educational resource. Download a copy HERE.

We hope you find these documents useful and would be very interested to hear your feedback, so that we can improve future versions. Please feel free to share them as widely as you wish or direct people to our webpages (address below), where they will be available very soon.

Kind regards,

Simon Springate
